The Artist Behind SCLPT. - Ismail Tekin

Born and raised in Istanbul, our artist’s journey began in the historic streets of Pera — a neighborhood steeped in culture, art, and history. Surrounded by galleries, ateliers, and the echoes of centuries-old craftsmanship, he developed an early fascination for form, texture, and color.

Over the years, he refined his skills in sculpture, mastering traditional techniques while experimenting with bold, modern interpretations. His work blends precision and rebellion — taking classical forms and infusing them with the vibrant, playful energy of pop art.

Every SCLPT. piece starts in his Pera atelier, where he shapes each figure entirely by hand. There are no molds, no shortcuts — only patience, vision, and an obsessive attention to detail. Each sculpture is a one-of-a-kind creation that carries his personal touch from the first carve to the final brushstroke.

Now, with SCLPT. based in Los Angeles, his work travels from the heart of Istanbul to collectors worldwide — bringing a piece of his world into theirs.
